Workshop Description

When someone is captivated in play and a game, we have the opportunity to focus their attention on profound life lessons demonstrated in our game play. During this workshop you will play some of my favorite ice breakers, initiatives and games with simple framing, metaphoric connection, and the power of choice. Come to this workshop and be prepared to play, be creative, and discover ideas to create connections and build self-efficacy with your participants. Come to learn the four statements of choice.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will explore the concept of choice with play and experiences.
  • Activity Facilitation to increase connection with participants.
  • Participants will be able to identify the Four Statements of choice and review GRABB

Presenter Bio:

Sarah Sark has 25 years’ experience in Recreational Therapy, experiential play and adventure based programming. She is a trainer and facilitator on the Pekarak Adventure Challenge Course at Bashor Children's home.
