Join this informative and interactive workshop designed for individuals in the healing profession that will look at secondary traumatic stress (STS) and its impact on how we do this work. We will define and assess our own level of STS and discuss how to create a plan for sustaining this work. Skills and interventions will be explored and practiced on an individual and group level.
Learning objectives:

- Participants will assess their own level of secondary traumatic stress.
- Participants will develop a plan for self-care and sustaining in this work.
Presenter Bio:
Kristi Glotzbach, LCSW, CADAC V, has dedicated her career to supporting children and families involved with the child welfare system, in both residential and community-based settings. Kristi is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Family Ark Jeffersonville, Indiana. She is passionate about disrupting intergenerational trauma and substance use through screening and early intervention. Her focus is on working with the whole family towards healing.
