Workshop Description

This workshop will focus on many skills, trade secrets, and pointers for case managers and/or therapist to utilize in the field. Much of the information presented in this workshop will be grass roots tools collected and shared with you by a team of clinicians with over 40+ years of experience in the field collectively. We will discuss evidence-based approaches that build and maintain rapport with clients, engagement skills, self-care, safety in the field, what's in your car, and important things to look for when in the field.

Learning Objectives:

  • Building engagement skills to minimize safety concerns in the field.
  • What is in your survival kit, and will it allow you to develop in this field?
  • Assessing yourself so you know when you are at capacity and how to overcome this.
