When working with youth or even having youth in your life, safety planning is a must. In this workshop we take a deeper dive into conceptualizing safety planning beyond the initial safety plan. We will explore how to use Motivational Interviewing concepts in safety planning. This workshop will also address additional environments in which a safety plan may need to be developed and updated. 

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will discuss risk and needs factors when updating a safety plan.
• Participants will apply Motivation Interviewing concepts in practice of case vignettes.
• Participant will discuss safety plans across different environments and situations.

Presenter Bio:

Megan Bullock, the Manager of Advocacy and Training Alliance, LLC, is an LMHC and a Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC). Megan has over 14 years of experience providing therapy for youth and families, supervision and training.
